Proposed Jones-Hopkins II is a joke???

I want to see what you guys think. I don't understand why this fight would interest anyone at this stage. What are you guys thoughts? Yeah, I agree. I made a thread about the outcome. I was surprised how many people picked Roy Jones..

Much rather see Hopkins against Calzaghe, & Jones proving he's really back in the mix with a win against another top contender. Calzaghe's a very busy fighter, & will force Hopkins to actually fight every round rather than cruise around the ring outsmarting his opponent, where-as see the Jones bout being lots of feinting, a fair bit of movement, & the occaisional real punch thrown.

Hopkins takes this easily. A boring UD. Both guys safety first fighters equals a snoozefest.

Adamek has two questionable decisions against Briggs and no one should forget that. Yeah and the first Jones-Hopkins fight sucked... no one should forget that either...

I want to see what you guys think. I don't understand why this fight would interest anyone at this stage. What are you guys thoughts? I quess it will be another example of two old guys, who are long since past it, trying to find easy paycheck. If either one of them really believes they are as good as they claim to be, why don't they call out Tomas Adamek? Is it because Adamek will likely kick their senile asses?

i think it going to be okay because sometimes sometime a person how great he is still want to regain his loss. if you seen the end of Rocky 3 and other part you know way the fight is taken place it more Hopkins wanna to win back rather than make a PPV you know those fighters still hold pride

Yeah I'm not interested in the actual fight but if Jones wins then he is the true LHW champ again n'est ce pas? Tarver had to give up the belts to fight Johnson, then lost against Hopkins, if Jones beats Hopkins he does something very unlikely and becomes the champ once more!

I think only Roy or Hopkins fans would want to see this and to be a fan of both, you would probably support this type of fight anyway lol.

I'd still buy it. Yes it should have happen along time ago, but still a interesting fight. The Jones of now vs the Hopkins of now I would still like to see who would win this fight. Jones Jr still has enough left to give Hopkins a good fight due to his style.

IF they fight on regular Hbo would be perfect they would have the highest rating for this fight, but ppv, i just don't like the idea of this fight on ppv. Should hav happened a long time ago but its still an intresting match, Jones comeing off a win and trying to claw his way back to the top and Bernard coming off a POSSIBLE career best, Its an intresting fight!

This fight would be a total joke. Should have happened 10 years ago at the very least. Shitty fights like these happen because we got dumbasses who will buy a PPV like this because of the names. The first fight sucked, this will be even worse... That's what I'm saying but it will probably happen and this will hurt the sport as a whole...
