Total Punches Peterson Gallardo Landed 207 100 Thrown 429 441 Pct. 48% 23% :lol1: :lol1: You didn't see the fight so be quiet, kid. And what are you a newbie? Thinking that the punch stats carry so much weight. Theres been many fights where the punch stats told a differnt story from who actually won.

Watching ESPN 2 right now. Man Emanual Augustus is one of the funnest fighters to watch. His ring antics are hilarious to me. It's a shame he's been robbed a lot in his career, but he's a real man. He fights in anyones backyard and is not afraid to lose a decision, or not take a fight cause it might affect his future prospects.

Both Anthony and Lamont are very busy in the ring, ESPN named Anthony the "Prospect Of The Year" for 2006. What most people don't realize is the kind of fighters they have been sparring with, they regularly spar with Zab Judah, and both have sparred with Mayweather, just to name a couple. Both Peterson bros have already seen what the bigtime guys bring "first hand" by that kind of sparring, so when they face anyone that isn't the best of the best, it's almost unfair. There is no doubt in my mind that both will be major title holders in the near future. By the way, both guys are well spoken, humble young men, who also find time to work with young kids, and enjoy teaching the little ones how to box. Fine young men these Peterson brothers - a credit to the sport.

As long as Hatton is at 140, it's safe to say in my mind that neither one of these guys will be the recognized champ.

both definetly have the talent to be up there at the best in their division someday. But whats more important, is they both share a very entertaining style. Thats always nice to see in a young fighter. And its an effective style so they will never have to drastically change their styles

Petersons passed this particular step up in class. Whether they can beat the elite at 140 remains to be seen. I think they will have their problems. Lamont seems to have issues cutting off the ring. Hopefully for him, guys will come to him and fight so he will not have to chase them. Both fighters are top ten material, most likely. I think they'll get a title shot, they got the talent. But even though one peterson got a ko, im not sure they have the power. But then again. Only a handfull or less punchers at 140.

Then tell me of a fighter that won on pure defence... i'll tell you of a fighter who won on defense and clean punching....lamont peterson. he outlanded and outclassed gallardo...it's that easy sir.

you guys need to understand that punches on a fighters gloves and arms mean nothing in terms of scoring a fight. peterson won the fight end of. yeah james looked pretty good in the weigh in video there. he looked strong...not overly flabby at all. Then tell me of a fighter that won on pure defence...
