This fight has certainly gotten my attention and Im really looking forward to it.
Edner is a tough fighter that I have really enjoyed over the past few years.
Paulie gets a ton of my respect based upon his showing against Cotto where he had none of it prior to the fight.
I dont have a real strong feeling in this fight either way, I usually always have an idea or at least a lean but this one is truly a toss up.
Anybody have any strong feelings as to the outcome of this very well matched fight?
Lets not forget those brittle hands, could be a factor.
I know you meant paulie, but didnt cherry hurt hand in his last fight?
I expect for malignaggi to win a close one only because of inactivity,I would have him by a wider margin otherwise.
but you know what, fuck it.With ShittyMcGirt in his corner,I wouldnt be surpised if he lost.
Back in 95 he apparently fisted a chick with an acid pussy. Listening to Paulie tell the story makes you want to cringe!
Hey guys, I'm really looking forward to the Malignaggi - Cherry fight, but is there any chance someone could upload the fight video here after? it's just that where I live I can't watch it!!
Thanks, please let me know if its possible!
I am always reading in here and post in boxing history more though. I just saw Cherry get outboxed by that PR Ricky Something and don't think he is that skilled. I have made numerous threads in Boxing History and I know my shit Stan.
So Ricky Quiles is Puerto Rican...your right but your still a liar you motherfucker.
Get back in the fucking lounge you dont belong here.

I am big on Paulie and expect him to outbox Cherry pretty easily. Cherry can be outboxed and is not the fastest guy around.

few things here:
malignaggi could out box cherry and make it a boring fight, but after the cotto fight i think malignaggi is going to exchange more, i think that he found his ball against cotto.
the thing is he might be a little gun shy after getting his face broken up.
cherry does have decent pop in his punches, has fairly fast hands, and relatively good boxing skills, but he does go inactive for some rounds and he has been outworked, so that's a factor.
what i think how this is going to go, i dunno know really because if i was a either guy i'd have a different approach.
if i was malignaggi i would outbox and out hustle cherry and try and win on points, flat out. cherry does have some power but i wouldn't be worried about it after fighting cotto how hits like a middleweight. cherry has never been stopped so going for the KO especially with brittle hands not a good game plan.
and if i were cherry i'd pressure him and make it a dog fight, going for the KO and see how he responds and how tough or fragile he is after his last fight and the time off. i'd go to the body and try to pin him up against the ropes or in the corner all night long. pressure, pressure, pressure..........all fight long i would'nt let him dance for shit if i could, killing the body, and fighting rough on the inside.
i think this is a pick'em fight but i would say that Malignaggi has a upper hand as far as boxing talent goes, other than that, it ought to be a more exciting if malignaggi isnt afraid of trading since the cotto fight.
He has some of the most graphic scarring on his hands that I have ever seen.

i will go with Pauli
he is one of kind boxer i seen something special on him.
He got very highe speed on footwork and handspeed and pretty amazing guy and exciting.
and he must go with part of boxing hit without getting hit and making most money before retiring.
i give him a chance even against Hatton and Castillo.
and better matchup is Ben Rabah and Pauli supper duba speed fight going to be fast pace
I spoke with both Edner and Paulie recently, and I have to tell you guys that this is a tossup really. Paulie is the more skilled guy, but he's coming off of a tough fight and 8 months inactivity. Edner has the bigger punch, but hes been in a lot of tough fights as of late. If I had to pick, I'd go with Paulie but you never really know.
Cherry is a good fighter. I'm gonna say he wins in a close fight, but it's pretty much even money. Cherry usually fights to the level of his opponent...
I like cherry I want him to win, I don't like Pauli I want him to lose. If pauli wins he better win in impressive fashing b/c I don't want to see no hit and running in this fight and then seeing all the pauli fans claiming he's back with a vengence or some shit.
