Pacquiao-Barrera, because here's some unknown kid from PI just walking through Marco Antonio Barrera, a guy who I revered very highly. I remember Barrera threw out the boxing and went back to what he was known for, the fighting. And Pacquiao beat him at that game which was something I didn't think was possible. In the 11th right before the stoppage, Jim Lampley compared Pacquiao's aggression after the knockdown to Dempsey stating "This is just like Jack Dempsey against Jess Willard, Pacquiao is right on top of him". Imagine somebody doing that to Barrera, showing the same ill-intentions to the guy who slammed Hamed's face into the turnbuckle. He demystified and tore through a man who had never had his ass kicked in the ring before. Barrera was considered to be above an ass whooping before that.
Most proud huh...? As far as regarding my favorite fighters...it would probably have to be Morales beating Mr. Pacquiao in their first encounter or James Toney coming back to KO Michael Nunn. I hated Nunn...admired his skills but I still didn't like him much.
As far as just all around it has to be Duran beating Iran Barkley. That was one of the most gutsy and beautiful boxing performances I have seen. Barkley was a huge middleweight and Duran showed that size alone won't get it done in the ring.
Ahhh, Duran-Barkley was one of my favorites as well. I had the same feeling watching that one as I did watching Douglas-Tyson a year later. Amazing night that was. :)

I have to agree with this as well. Even though I am a huge Tyson fan, I have to respect the courage and will of Buster Douglas. He put on an amazing fight and exposed Tyson for being overly confident and not preparing the way he should have.
I gotta say it was Douglas-Tyson for me. Buster, for one night in his life, proved that any man can beat any other man, no matter what the odds. His mom had died two week prior, the mother of his son was in the hospital, he was fighting the flu bug, and was a 42-1 underdog against one of the most feared fighter who'd ever lived at that time. He had no chance.
...but he showed us. I still get a warm feeling when I recall it to my minds eye. I couldn't believe what I was seeing; but it happened...and no one can ever take that away from him.
The Underdog won that day.

Hernandez in the Litzau fight was something amazing. He was taking such a beating, losing on all score cards, and on the verge of getting TKO'd when he knocked out Litzau. I thought was a really great fight and Hernandez showed a lot of heart.
