Cotto giving up the tittle to fight Mosley in Feb!!!!

to everyone who thinks cotto's ability to take a punch at 147 is the same as it was at 140...i would like you to re-evaluate your opinion. i guarandamntee you that he'll be much more sturdy at 147. i know that some fighters in the past have taken a good shot even when they were drained at lower weights, but i think the weight drain effected cotto differently. everything about him looks like he is back to his old bad ass form. he said it himself that he feels he can pressure for 12 rounds without letting up. i think he would take mosely out at this point in their careers. i agree about cotto's ability to take a punch...also you have to remember that when he was hurt against chop chop that punch was perfect it hit him right on the temple i don't care about chop chop's power a punch like that will hurt alot of boxers.....the punches torres hit him with would of hurt alot of guys too torres has legit power....but cotto has been better on defense since those fights and continues to improve......i also belive making 140 lbs. was taking a big toll on him he will be better at 147.....i also think he beats mosely..

Mosely has expolisve stamina but not the stamina that could go 12 rounds. example he could go with hard 4-6 combo punch and flurries but he cant do jabing and normal combo for long period of time.

Since 1 year ago, Mosley has said he don't want to fight with Margarito. Delahoya used to have Margarito as his sparring partner and im sure he taled to Mosley about Margarito and Mosley don't want none. It's sparring for christsake. Mosley don't want none? the more i think about it the more im leaning for cotto....his body shots are deadly and mosley is prone to get beat up to the body.....now the only question would be if mosley catches cotto clean with his right hand...cotto does not know how to lose and against mosley i doubt he will suffer his 1st loss...it would be great if it happens but i think it's just a rumor....

If Cotto, on the other hand, faces Margarito, equally fantastic. WBA titlist face WBO titlist to earn #1 ranking and mandatory for the World Champion's first defense aftat he dispenses with Oldar De La Hoya. What are you talking about? Mosley fought Estrada on national TV...If I remember well it was on ESPN. Estrada had his moments against Mosley. The fight was on espn ppv, then they later replayed it on espn.

If Cotto can't hurt or back up Mosley, Cotto will lose. Shane has awesome handspeed and it will look better at 147 instead of 154. If this fight actually happens IMO...

Cotto Mosley has no chance of coming off. Not until Arum and Oscar kiss and make up. The only way you'll see a Top Rank fighter in the ring with a GBP's fighter is if one is a mandatory and it goes to purse bid. Otherwise, it will not happen. You read it here first! LOL

I rememeber Shane saying he would face Cotto. I think he said if after he KO'ed Vargas in the second fight. Im not too sure though.

Cotto will fight Urkal. He wont take a tough matchup in Feb. It might keep him from fighting in June, which is probably very important to him.
