Jeff Lacy
Carlos Quintana
Joel Julio
Kermit Cintron
Just wanted to know what fighter has a best chance of rebounding and becoming a known figure and champion of one of the major belts.
I am still with Lacy...I am not saying that his last two fights have been anything to build off as a fan...I just think he will focus and rebound from the loss and looking bad in a fight he won. I hope he does atleast...one more sloppy fight or loss and he will be in big trouble though.
I think all of them are fighters I would not discount yet, yes even Left Hook Lacy!
You have got to understand that most of us are dating or are married to women who have been bent over and had the piss fucked out of them by someone other then us...did we give up on them or leave them for dead? Did we consider them damaged goods?
All of these fighters deserve second looks (Cintron is a prime example) just like the women we all walk around with, you never know when some fighter/bitch will surprise ya!
Quintana hit Julio with shots that looked like he was going out. Thing is, Julio reminds me of Tito in that he has the lanky power.
I think that was a style made fight and he rebounds well by K.O. next fight. Julio was written off too quick if you ask me.

A lesson for Lacy's people with Clintron.
Cintron was handled right after his beating by Margarito
- new trainer who gradually built him back up, got him his confidence back, & now he's recovered nicely.
Whether he has the skills to beat Margarito in a rematch, or Cotto, is still up for question, but I doubt his people will be looking for a bout with either for probably another year, which is about right.
To me, Quintana & Cintron have the most potential
- Lacy & Julio too one-dimesional.
They might get a title briefly if they're careful with their opponents, but I think Calzaghe, injuries & bad handling have destroyed any chance of Lacy growing that much, & I think Julio is just too one-dimensional.

Why would you even add Cintron to this list?
Cintron already made it to were a lot fighters are trying to get to -Champion. How long he holds onto this belt is another story.
Cintron was so discouraged in the Margarito fight. It had to have helped him mature. Since his loss, he has won a few fights, hired Steward as his trainer, and won a belt. So Id say hes already rebounded quite well.

Definitely Cintron, he seems to have rebuilt his confidence again.
Quintana still has the skills to become great... He may learn a lot from the Cotto fight and sharpen his talent to be able to fight that kind of fight.
Cintron's well on his way already,he made me a fan,he used to be very crude but hes shaping up nicely and has got some good wins since his loss to Margarito.
I feel Cintron and Quintana will because they are talented and maybe thrown into the deep end too fast.
There is no way back for Lacy though, in my opinion. That beating from Calzaghe really would of affected him psychologically.
Kermit Cintron, they mishandled his growth by putting him in there with Margarito when he was still green. But he is physically talented, reminds me a lot Vernon Forrest
