I don't have HBO myself and neither do any of my friends who are home for the weekend. If anyone would mind letting me watch their live stream, please PM me. Thanks!
Watch the old Wlad. Before Sanders.
He was a fucking confident monster.
Threw everything together with the kitechen sink...just destroying guys.
that was the whole problem though. if his guy didnt fall he was gassed and finished. was awesome though watching him throw all those combos. most times the foes did fall
What a right hand! Brock deserves credit for getting up (though his legs were gone)! I was a little bit dissappointed with Klitschko in the first four rounds as he obviously didn't find a solution to Brock's body puching & inside-out movement. I think Wlad got frustrated as well. He seemed to push it a lot more from the 5th round on. But once he caught Brock clean and followed up it was all over?
I was watching the guy on German TV (RTL). Did you guys see the replay of the forearm punch Klitschko caught Brock with in the 5th round. Unintentional but hurtfull, I guess.
Well, Klitschko is definitly the best HW right now. He has to go for a unification bout now!
BTW: Vitali Klitschko told RTL in an interview that he will box again when he feels his body has completely healed!
there is no advantage (big or small) in boxing. the only advantage in boxing is the level of skill. i would say both of these dude's are pretty equal in terms of skill. wlad can throw a mean 1-2 but he is pretty damn one-dimensional. i have never seen him throw an uppercut or demonstrate any sort of inside skills. brock has pretty tight defense but his offense is pretty mediocre. he would be a journeyman back in the day or even in the 80's...!!!

Any guy that big with that much mass is gonna have Stamina problems because their hearts are the same size as ours. Wlad paced himself well,
that's why he didn't seem tired.
.....Yeah, I'm not sure about all this stamina talk as Wlad didn't really seem winded to me. I'm just trying to figure out how Ledderman had it even after 4 rounds. Wlad took a minute to figure out Calvin and he stood closer and was a little different tactically, but the result was the same. Good luck for anyone fighting this guy for the next 5 years.
It looks like he is starting to go into hyperventilation.
Regular boxing "Fatigue" is a big different...fatigue is just from being tired, but this doesn't seem to be the case, although I have no idea what is really going on since I am not in his body.

no, it means when pores on your skin open up to intake more oxygen, ever wondered where you get the whole "second breath" thing.
I heard of the "Second breath" thing before, but could never really understand it because I ended up having breathing problems myself when I got into my late teens...when I was younger I really never paid attention to how I breathed because I didn't have problems.
And Stewards has to show Wlad how to fight on the inside, and Wlad has gone away from throw a hood off the jab, that used to be one of his effective weapons he used to use. Wlad is the top dog for now.
agree...Wlad just leaves himself wide open when in the clinch/inside...Brock was landing right on the rib cage and around the heart.

Wlad is the top dog for now.Brock actually countered him a couple times (with rights to the body) when Wlad tried to double up his left with a hook after the jab. So he stopped doing it as much. In the end he didn't need it anyhow...
His stamina is good...............but he has a real trouble transfering to aerobic way of breathing(i hope you know what I mean) He is the most vulnerable in 5-6th rounds.
??? Breathing through your nose and keeping calm?
Maybe he should get checked to see if he has a deviated septum?
Wlad could probably take out any heavy if he doesn't conserve any energy for the mid-late rounds, but of course if he does the Foreman way, he will be in a world of shit in the mid-late rounds.
He looked sloopy earlier on but once he got going the result a ko. But i still have to wonder if Briggs was in their with him -shamlessly admiting- will Wlad have another nervous break down? The past will tell us no, and yes, but All Briggs has is a punch, Wlad would have to be carefully as he was here and throw the jab then he'd ko Briggs too, but it'd be interesting fight. I wouldn't have thought so before but both will complement each others style.
