Who would win between these two mexican warriors ?
I would take Morales by UD. I dont think JMM can handle Morales heart, aggression and will. Morales could take JMM's best , I dont think JMM could take Morales best if either had to dig really deep.
It's a shame these 2 never fought.
As for the Marquez v. Morales fight, before the Terdsak fight i go with a Morales win, after the Terdsak win I go with Morales in a tough battle though somtimes i favor Marquez but a calm Marquez would have a tough time beating Morales, but the recent Marquez would give him hell. Right now i'd have to favor Marquez, a couple years ago i'd favor Morales, but Morales as been mentioned has been through many wars and Marquez hasn't. When Morales wins it would be baddass to see him fight Marquez.
So basicly, when Morales was on top i'd favor Morales, now i'd favor Marquez.
I favor Morales by UD.

Against Junior Jones, that was 1997, well it was hard for me to watch/follow boxing at that time cuz i was in the military.
Since u know a lot aobout MAB, why was he DQ against Jones?
First off, the ref they had for that fight was to uN-experianed in reffering a main event.
The way it went down was Jones had Barrera on the ropes. Delivering some combos. Then he landed a good right hand, Barrera unexperianced as a fighter -being hurt/buckled first time- held going down, though imo he didn't go down because he was wobbled badly but because Jones keep punching in combos and Barrera at the time didn't know how to defend from them so he went to his knees but kind of like a tackle.
So just as Barrera is going down the bell rings while Jones is still on him trying to throw more combos and the ref just about to break it up while quickly Barreras corner-man jumps in with anger towards Jones, he rushs to get his fighter to take him to his corner -remember the bell already rang- the ref seeing Barreras corner-man in the ring taking Barrera doesn't know how to react and thinks, the corner-man stopped the fight, which he didn't. So the ref, not knowing how to react to the situation in front of him waves the fight off. Not allowing us the public to see the fight unfold and see how Barrera would have reacted in the following round.
If it was a differnt ref he would have let the fight go on, but the ref was un-experianced and it costed Barrera a win, and it costed Jones a true win. Thats why in imo' when this fight is brought up -if you dislike Barrera with ignorance- you will say Barrera got ko'd badly which isn't true. If your a boxing fan or a Barrera fan and you understand boxing and have seen situations like this in the past and how they get handled, you know that the ref decicion to stop the fight was all based on his in-experiance.
Morales's wide-ass punches get him countered viciously all night. Morales isnt fast either. Marquez is faster, the bigger puncher, the better counterpuncher, and his chin and stamina are top-knotch.
Marquez UD Morales
Marquez beats Barrera too.
Morales and Barrera have been avoiding him for years, for good reason though- high risk/low reward.
i havent been on this site for too long so i havent seen them.
after the turdsack fight during the interview JMM said if he ever fought Pac again it would be for his wife and kids. Is he lying ?
how can he be "bakla" if he's married with kids.
Marquez has a wife and kids. That guy is a trainer and part of Team Marquez.
lol where have you been. that's jmm alright. there must be around 10-20 pics of him and his bf in very compromising poses all over the net and here in BS. and that dude was in the ring right after he won against terdsak! :D

He was DQ'ed as he was in the process of being knocked silly because his corner got on the ring. He was DQ'ed on technicality, when it really was a knockout loss.
Jones dropped him bad and then proceeded to land bombs on him, Barreras corner jumped up and tried to stop the fight. I believe the WBO rules make that situation a disqualification win.
Im not surprised - most people forget

 You don't remember? He left boxing for almost a year and almost thought of never coming back after they robbed him in Jones v. Barrera II.
Didn't know about that, thanks for the info.
JMM or proly nacho must get their heads in place.
rejecting the 750K is a big blunder so is the Morales offer if its true.
PAC will earn $3M againts Morales BUT before that, he got only $750K for destroying MAB. see the point?
he should accept a MEGA fight regardless of PAY because he's not calling the shots.
lets say he accepted the Morales or even the PAC offer and win them, he'll get the money he deserved in his succeding bouts proly againts barrera or either pac or EM.
I always have that Q at the back of my mind, why didn't they fight Marquez all those years?
I like all three fighters. I followed Barrera and Marquez almost at the same time, with Marquez shortly followed by Barrera then Morales.
Barrera was doing his thing first at jr. bantamweight then moved up cause he couldn't get a title shot.
Marquez that i remember I could be wrong was always a featherweight. And doing his thing.
Barrera ONLY moved up to featherweight to face Morales.
Morales started at jr. featherweight probably even lower but i started watching him as a jr. featherweight.
Marquez during Morales and Barreras reign was always known as a good fighter with the WBO title, he gets a title shot, at featherweight champion Freddy Norwood and loses a split deciciosn very contraversal.
Whilw Morales and Barrera i think were still jr. featherweights, so when Morales moved up Marquez wasn't an option to fight cause he wasn't making noise. I think a lot of his fights he just did his thing and keep winning but nothing like Morles or Barrrera. While both had been fighting top fighters.
Marquez problem is that -i remember- Marquez never officially chanllenged Morale or Barrera and he was on tv a lot. But again not looking as impressive as Morales or Barrrera most of the time.
Basicly Marquez at one time or another always had a set back in his career.
If the Morles offer to Marquez is true well... thats just Marquez fault for not fighting Morales.
When Morales wins, Marquez should make a lot of noise. As Marquez should have after his win over Terdsak.
I wouldn't go as far as saying he was avoided by morales or barrera because marquez himself had some set-backs to put him back in the starting circle.

I agree.
Both Barrera and Morales, IMO, silently ignored JMM. Hamed shamelessly ducked him. They knew Marquez' style combined with his near-flawless technical proficiency, is a difficult puzzle to solve. JMM is like a porcupine, in the business side - he's simply a high risk/low reward fighter. He was the 'avoided one' during those days.

Perfectly said, would have been great to see them when they were both younger, still a tough call.
I agree.
