Corrales-Casamayor finalized for Oct 7!!!! Lacy-Green?

On October 7th, heated rivals Diego Corrales and Joel Casamayor will attempt to break their deadlock. " It's just finalized," said Corrales' promoter, Gary Shaw on Friday afternoon." We're going to do Diego Corrales and Joel Casamayor, their third fight. Each one has one under their belt. These are two guys that really don't like one another, so there's a score to settle. "And hopefully Jeff Lacy will open up the show. I don't have an opponent, yet. But it's going to be a great show." Lacy, who is coming off a lopsided loss to Joe Calzaghe in March, could be facing upstart Allan Green, who headlines tonights edition of Friday Night Fights on ESPN2. " Allan, kept saying feed him Jeff Lacy, I'm about to feed him Jeff Lacy." Shaw mentioned that this show could take place either in either Las Vegas or somewhere in the Northeast. credit: Steve Kim

I got the first 2 fights on tape so i'll be looking forward to adding the rubbermatch to my collection of fights. Casamayor got a lucky break in the first fight when the ref stopped it cuz of a bad cut inside Corrales mouth. Not saying Casa would have lost, they were both hurting eachother. The rematch was less dramatic with Corrales out boxing Casa until the 10th I believe when Casa knocked Corrales silly, lucky for Corrales he was able to survive the rest of the fight. My bet would be on Corrales but you have to wonder how much the Castillo fights took out of him, either way, should be a good fight.

Casamayor is live prey for the Castillo Revenge hungry Corrales. Although he looked terrible in his last fight he might just step it up against Corrales again but he will still lose this fight. I'll say Corrales by 10th round TKO but I wouldnt surprise if Casamayor pulls a Camacho and survives without being knocked out.

green is going to get the same treatment he issued out to kaidon or what ever his fuckin name is but lacy is going to break him in half with body shots ... and if he leaves his chin out there it could be another g man fight... love to see it but hate the out come ... green isn,t ready and if his corner put him in that fight there putting there fighter in danger because lacy is furious and who ever enter that ring is going to pay... :boxing:

If Lacy fights Green, Lacy is going to lay down a murderous ko. Bonstante had openings all night but never truly commmited on punchs. Casamayor is freshier of the two, this fight could go either way.

i would buy only because im a huge corrales fan. But i seriously think it should be free on showtime. Its horrible buying showtime though, cause i only watch the fights, their shows suck

I think it's safe to say we'll NEVER see another Castillo Corrales fight. Could you blame Corrales? Twice he worked his ass off to make weight and was screwed over in the 24 hours before the fight. I don't think he'll ever entertain another fight with the guy after that.

The rematch showed that Corrales could box when he needed to out think a quicker fighter. This is just up in the air, but I gotta go with Corrales right now. We were expecting to see one trilogy finish, but instead we get to see the end of another great trilogy! :D id have much rather seen a great finish to the castillo trilogy :( , but either works :) both would have been great fights, and i love seeing people who HATE eachother, fight!

Casa didn't look good in his last fight. We still don't know the affects that Corrales has after his knockout loss to Castillo. If I had to bet on someone , I would bet on Corrales. I just feel he has alot more left than Casa.

I don't know man you better think real good about putting your points on that match. They are just points and I think Casa has a good shot.We don't know how well Corrales is going to look either after his last bad KO to Castillo.
