The Best Body Blows in the History of the Sport?????

How young are you people? :confused: The best body punchers in the history of the sport are: Gerry Cooney Mike Tyson Mike McCallum Bar none. JCC, Barrera, etc. are good, but they don't come close.

Right now I'd Say Cotto, Hatton, Castillo and Gatti.

Miguel Cottos left hook to the body is disgusting. It re-arranges his opponents ribcage. That punch deals so much fucking damage when it lands that its insane. Jose Luis Castillo and Ricky Hatton also work the body like madmen. Micky Ward wouldn't be spoken of today if he didn't have that savage left hook to the body. Everything about him is average outside of his chin, heart and left hook to the body.

McGuigan, Ward, Mosley, McCallum, Gatti, Mayweather Jnr and Jeff Fenech are all great bodypunchers but Hatton for ME is the most consistent of them all with a catalogue of shots to the body (over half his stoppages have come from body shots)

Barrera still has a good body attack and used to have a killer lethal left hook to the liver when he was coming up, then he became a boxer and doesn't use the live hook as much as he used to, he'd end fights with a live hook, mean body attack.

Ricky came up with combinations to the body that nobody had ever done before, he's awesome. He also knows how to step around and shift his position to open an opponent up and get a shot in at the solar plexus. Excellent stuff. He also knows how to push you down by the back of your head and then hit you in the body
