Yep. I think Lennox's victory over a shot Tyson is a hollow victory. It was defenitly a few years over due.

He hasnt been the same fighter ever since Buster Douglas shocked the world over 16 years ago, in hes prime he was quite possibly the most fierce and ruthless fighter there has been, he had everything in the 80s and to see him reduced to the guy that got beaten by Lewis, Williams and McBride was tragic in boxing terms :( . Tyson on hes best night could have beaten Buster, Holy and Lewis and obviously Williams and Mcbride imo they just caught him when he wasnt "That Guy" anymore.

Wouldn`t you say he`s been shot since the Buster Douglas fight, or at least since the first Holyfeild fight and that was 10 years ago. It`s been a while since Iron Mike has been a legit contender. No. He peformed well against both Stewart (ranked #4 at the time...and had given Holyfield fits) and Ruddock (ranked #2) He went into decline in prison. Everything from his release on was subpar compared to before prison.

Good grief. I knew he was shot for sure when he faced that Danish fighter. Logically, I knew he was on the skids after the 2nd Holyfield fight because he obviously lost it in that fight. Also, he was taking longer and longer to fight legit competition...Julius Francis and Savarese?? I know Lennox was going to destroy him because he no longer had what it took to beat the upper eschelon by that point. Holyfield II was the real beginning of the end, though.
