If Floyd turns down this offer then I am just about ready to slide Winky Wright or Manny Paquiao ahead of him on my P4P list. I personally predict that he will fight Hatton next, I've had this prediction ever since the Hatton-Collazo fight. After seeing how much trouble Hatton has with a slick boxer and considering how popular Hatton is, a fight with him would be the best combination of low risk high pay for Mayweather.

Moments ago promoter Bob Arum informed **********.com that he has an $8M minimum guarantee for undefeated pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr to face WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito at the Thomas and Mack Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on HBO PPV on October 7. Obviously Arum has wanted a Mayweather-Margarito bout for quite some time, and with the Manny Pacquiao-Erik Morales rubbermatch scheduled to take place on November 18 he has more than one reason to prefer Mayweather-Margarito in October. He was fighting Santos in David's hometown, so that may have been a factor. Santos lost recently, to a German in Germany if I recall. Plus the guy he lost to may very well be the next big thing at 154. We just don't know.
