He predicted that Winky would beat Mosley, he predicted that Winky would technically outclass Tito, he predicted that Collazo was going to give Hatton lots of trouble, but Hatton would still prevail, he predicted that Pacman would beat Morales in the 2nd fight.....etc...etc... you gies get the point.
Have you ever seen him state a prediction that was not correct?
he's definately great at making predictions. He predicts that hopkins will beat tarver. i hope bhop knocks him senseless.. I hope hes right because i dont see it happening
i see him being wrong on this one.
In the Oscar fight he was stating that Mayorga is not getting hit as much as he did in the earlier rounds than Mayorga got KTFO after he said that. In the Barrios fight this weekend he said that his opponent looke like he was going to be though than he got KTFO. In overall, he makes good predctions though but he can be biased sometimes.

i think he is a good guy to make a prediction, he is a trainer, was a amature boxer, and is comentators so he sees a lot of boxing both on tv, so if he can be unbiased when it comes to picking a winner, im sure his prediction is solid, but then again, boxing is very unpredictable at times you never know which fighter is going to show up. to answer your question, yes i have seen steward make the wrong prediction
He predicted Mitchell to beat Tszyu.
Fuck, so did I. The reason I predicted Mitchell to smack Tszyu around was A) Mitchell had been very impressive leading up to the fight, B) Tszyu had been off for almost 2 years, C) Tszyu was 35 years old, D) and Tszyu had all sorts of issues with Mitchell in there first fight. What I didn't expect, and I'm sure Emanuel Steward didn't see coming either, was that Mitchell would go out there and try to make a brawl out of it. He paid a huge price for that genius idea. All the factors were in place for Mitchell to outbox Tszyu. He attempted to pounce on Tszyu anticipating he'd be rusty. For all his efforts, he got bounced off the canvas 4 times.
The only time that I can remember him being wrong was for Tarver vs Jones II and for Roy's next fight with Glen Johnson.
Before the fight with Johnson, he said that Johnson was the perfect fighter for Jones in his prime. However, he also stated that if this was not the Jones of old, but instead an old Jones, Johnson would be the wrong fighter for him to face, particularly in light of the KO he suffered just 5 months earlier.

Hopkins looks incredibly thicker, and im also predicting that he KO's the skinny ass tarver.
ANd yea, steward predicts stuff all the time, although if he did the douglas/tyson fight, im sure as hell that he didnt predict that.
Did he really try to pull him out. ive heard him say something like that last saturday but i thaught he was just trying yo blow smoke up MAB ass
Seriously, Steward saw it coming a mile away. Barrera didn't look like the uninspired, lost fighter he was after the fights with Jones. Barrera was gonna get him on that night, and Steward knew it.
He gets them right all the time, because he knows the sport. All these so-called boxing pundits don't know shit about the sport, they're just talking out their asses. To illustrate, chew on this. When polled prior to the Barrera-Hamed fight, 28 of 32 boxing scribes picked Hamed to win the fight. The Las Vegas oddsmakers installed Hamed as a 3 1/2-1 favorite over Barrera, suggesting the public's belief that The Prince would win. But upon watching Barrera's final tune up in preparation for the Hamed bout, he was trying to pull Hamed out of the fight!
Emanuel Steward is a very intelligent former fighter who has been a major factor in pretty much every fight he has been chief second in. He willed and guided his charges to victory by imparting his wisdom in the corner. He is, in my estimation, the premier intellect of the sport.

He was 100% right about Hopkins/Taylor. He said this is the first great true middleweight hes faced since Roy Jones and that he will have some trouble and probably lose a close fight.
your an admitted klitschko lover man, of course you believe that one. no offense but they are your favorite fighters arent they?
....Yep, I know. I was kind of being a smart ass when I said it. Even though I do now believe it will be a long time before anyone challenges Wlad.
