20. tunney vs. dempsey 2

1. dempsey vs. firpo
what do you think of the list and what would you change ? ..personally i can't belive castillo vs. corrales 1 is not in there ? that was a great fight i don't care the era!!!..also i don't think that ali vs. frazier 1, louis vs. schmeling 2 and ali vs. foreman should be in the list they were good fights but not top 20 all time i think they made it more because of the event and the impact than the actual fights it self ..
Damnit I was looking forward to this show and what a damn dissapointment. How the hell can Castillo/Corrales not even crack the top 20? I can understand Gatti/Ward just because of its importance, but come on that list was horrible. Dempsey/Firpo? Has anyone even seen that?
Chales, we have got a lot of great fights in the last 10 years alone. The lighter weights have been carring the weight and it may continue. The welterweight division is heated and their should be lots of good matchs there.
Another they missed, Julio Gonzalez v. Julin Letterlough, Marco Antonio Barrera v. Kennedy Mckenny, Ricardo Lopez v. Rosendo Alverez II, Chavez v. Randell 1, Chavez v. Taylor 1....
they had sum real good lower weight class fights in the 80's too....Arguello-Pryor....dat shit was THE BEST
if you compare it to now....its kinda true at some points....especially the HW division

ESPN is run by old guys who think their era was better than the rest...it's pathetic..i hope they eventually hire young guys to end that old folk eras...

some other good fights are morales barrera 1 and 3. those were good fights. maybe its who #1 american fights with american fighters
You took the words right out of my mouth :boxing: Morales Barrera 1 should be in everybodys top 3
Where is Marciano Vs. Louis I?
How did Lamotta Vs. Robinson make it but not Marciano Vs. Louis I? I believe Lamotta Vs. Robinson 6 is the one where Lamotta just sat there laughing at Rabinson for not being able to knock him down.
Lamotta was a crazy mother ******, a crazy crazy tough mother ******.
Why is the rumble in the jungle number 18?
LOL, am I really missing out on Boxing this badly?

cant believe they didnt have castillo corrales... i guess your right... i guess their going for the magnitude of the event more than the fight itself...
