Tyson vs. ...Taylor?! 18.01.06- By Scoop Malinowski: Sources from American TV show ESPN Hollywood report that Mike Tyson told them in Las Vegas this past weekend that the 39-year-old former heavyweight champion is interested in fighting again. And specifically mentioned Jermain Taylor as a potential future opponent.. Of course, when it comes to Mike Tyson, we read and hear many ludicrous rumors and reports. But this one may indeed be credible. After all, Taylor and his handlers are very ambitious and a unique middleweight vs. heavyweight spectacle such as Tyson vs. Taylor would be intriguing. The middleweight vs. heavyweight precedent has already been set. There is at least one example in boxing history where a middleweight champ has challenged a heavyweight - Stanley Ketchel was stopped in nine by reigning heavyweight champ Jack Johnson in 1909. Could Tyson vs. Taylor actually be in the works? With Mike Tyson, as we know, pretty much anything is possible.

Does anyone give a damn what Tyson plans to do at this point? YES and there's really nothing you can do about it. Another stupid fight that wont ever happen. People dont udnerstand that Tyson is retired. Give me a link were Tyson HIMSELF talksa bout fighting guys like Tarver.

Tarver wanted 50/50 purse split, its obvious that when he made demands like that he was never really interested in the fight. I agree, and to be honest I think everyone should leave the Mike alone. He clearly is done, and challenging him/beating him at this point is pointless.

Well, him doing porn was ridicolous, then him fighting Tarver, and ofcourse the infamous he is going to do mma, specifically K1. Whats next? He is going to go on dancing with the stars? Or will he also be auditioning for American Idol. Of course a fight with Miguel Cotto is also in the works for later this year. Tyson may fight Tarver, but fighting Taylor would be insane.
