Mosley Vs Vargas (Feb.25)

if only this fight happened 5 years ago....back then these guy's styles wud have been perfect for a breathtaking fight. I hate to say it but it just seems like 2 shot fighters looking for a last pay day. Man i think mosely was incredible back in the day - but it was sad listening to him in the interview after his last fight trying to convince himself he fought well....

I don't know, they're both shot, but Mosley still has all the physical traits he had before...just the mental part(combinations) Either way...if this goes PPV, I go "AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

From what I have seen lately from both fighters they both need a big win which neither will score....I like Mosley to win by UD but Vargas could be the first one to TKO or KO Mosley if he all of a sudden became his old self again at this point which is unlikely and this is of course assuming Mosley keeps fighting like he has been latelytoo. :D

Agree...But this shit shouldn't be a ppv fight. OH HELL YEAH..i agree..screw that (its being a ppv) haha..Vargas didnt ake Mayorga fight cuz he wanted to make big money against DLH,and now not onyl did Mayorga get the fight ut Vargas has to fight Mosley who will probably kil lhim also. This better not be a ppv,or they atleast better load it with great fights.

I think mosley has way more then Vargas left in the tank,i dont think mosely is compltely shot either,its just he had no business being in at 154 especially with winky wright (which he didnt do that bad against in rematch),so with that said-i believe mosely will win by Tko..he jsut to fast for vargas man and has to much to prove.

Mosley will end up winning this fight against Vargas unless we see the Vargas that fought against Ike. Something tells me that Vargas won't be prepared and if he ends up losing this bout then I cannot imagine him ever becoming champion again.

Thats how I feel EXACTLY. I believe Sugar Shane has more left than ole no chin Vargas. "Azucar" has enough speed left to catch Fernando with a clean combo and leave him dancing in the center of the ring before he hits the deck. He'll get up only to get caught again and have the referee stop it. This fight should be a good "show" though especially if it is held in L.A., could be a turf war.

They better get some good under cards if they want to make this a PPV...Or make it a $19.95 PPV like the Hatton-Maussa fight. 19.95 is reasonable for that fight but u already know its gonna be 50$

Mosley is absolutely going to RIP APART Vargas. This is going to be no contest, Vargas is a much worse fighter then Mosley. Once Mosley lets his hands go, Vargas will turn himself into a brawler again and get KO'd. Can't fucking wait for this fight. I don't think it'll be completely one sided, but I agree with the sentiment. I think Mosely does just about everything better than Vargas at this point except for use of his jab. I like Mosely in a UD.

i think this is the stupidest fight for botth guys what does mosely get if he wins, he beat a shot vargas whose best fight was against javier castillo in the last 2 years vargas wins he beat mosely who has 2 crappy wins in a row followed by a lost 4 in 6 fights streak I tell ya, they are setting the winner up to fight De La Hoya. Then De La Hoya can have a win against a name fighter and retire a hero.

Mosley is much older though at 34. I think he is the one who is in the must win fight. Vargas needs the win to establish his championship credentials, i think the winner of this fight, fights De La Hoya later in the year!

I think they both are finished, and hopefully one of them never fights again after this one.

I say Mosley, but they are both kind of shot...so it could go the other way.
