he seems like an interesting prospect, but its waaaaay too early to say much about , maybe in 2-3 years.
and i wouldnt worry about him weiging little, everyone weighs less at age 19 than at age 30, its now that his muscle will realy grow.
what kinda style does he have?

I have read good reviews about this guy.
dude i fuckin swear you make a post about this guy every week or so and act like youve never mentioned him before. and then the same 2 or 3 people always reply the same things and act like its the first time theyve done it. what the fuck is going on here?

I have read good reviews about this guy.
sorry, no way bro...he is too small for a heavyweight and it would take well more than 2 years for him.......having said that, boxing out of germany will definitely help him.
a future cruiserweight and perhaps heavyweight star is this guy:

Yes, he has a long way to go but he does have some things going for him: he is young, aggressive and athletic with fast hands.
He is raw right now, but it would be stupid to rush him into a fight with a really good fighter too quickly. The old-time fighters fought often, like he is doing, and fought a lot of scrubs...they learned from every fight they fought.
Although Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion (which was Cus's primary goal) even he was probably rushed too quickly. Tyson was too young to deal with all that a champion has to deal with (out of the ring...in the ring he was better than anyone ever)and he eventually succumbed to the pressures and pleasures of being on the top of the world at too young an age.
Boytov is someone to watch for in the next 2-3 years. He has skills that he is still developing but there is no mistaking his innate agression and and athletic ability.
Thanks for the links Nautilus. I couldn't get the first two links to work (problem on my end).
How can you compare this guy to Tyson though? Two of the last three links had the ref stepping in and stopping...I didn't see anything even close to the one punch KO power of a young Tyson. The last link shows a guy going down from a volume of punches, not one or two hard shots.
He doesn't have the head movement, speed, or aggressiveness of a 19 year old Tyson, and when he steps inside swinging, he swings wide and he's wide open for counters. I think he'd have trouble with someone stronger than him.
I would need to see a lot more from this guy before I would say he's going to be the next Tyson.
Yes, you are right, but I do think the guy is very interesting, throws interesting combinations, etc. The first two links should work if you download the files first.
Denis is on a good track. Tyson became the champ in 2 years after the pro debut. Denis reminds me young Tyson.

Do you have links to any of those reviews that you read about him? I just realized, and take my statement back, that even though he fought people without winning records most fighters start out their first couple of fights against 0-2 and 0-0 fighters. He has fought some decent opposition if you can say for his first couple of bouts. I wonder what his amateur record was. Good find on this guy, I'll be looking forward to seeing him grow.
Here is a very interesting dicussion:

Here is Denis's hompage:

I've only seen his fight vs. Murray and I was really impressed. He reminds me of a more aggresive DM. He hasn't fought anyone though, and he is pretty small for heavyweight.

Obviously I support him because he is Russian, but I must be realistic. He hasnt fought anyone with a winning record.
Neither have most of today's HWs. Do you know much about him?
