Jermaine Taylor's next fight

Taylor isn't really a big KO puncher because most of his KO wins are TKOs.He couldn't even finish William Joppy when he had him hurt,so he's not a real killer in there like a Tito Trinidad.Edouards last opponent Willie Gibbs was a bigger puncher than Taylor IMO.All I can say is if Taylor cannot finish Edouard,it's gonna be a dog fight from start to finish.I say this is a tough matchup,and I believe Edouard will pull off the upset.

this fight isnt goign past 6 unless taylor plays it real safe and carries him with his jab

that eoduard-gibbs fight was great.but i think taylor handles him easily with an early ko. edouard isnt on the same level as taylor. my prediction is taylor KO 5

"The Hatian Sensation" is heavy handed but has a defense that involves throwing lots of punches and waiting for his opponents hands to break on his head. The way Taylor jabs and sets up that right and his uppercut? This could be ugly. Gibbs put him down, Taylor keeps him down. No way this lasts the distance. I say that HBO wouldn't risk their boy in a real fight. Taylor is ment to get the crown so he has to beat Eduoard more impressively than Hopkins beats Eastman. That means early KO.

This will be Jermaine Taylors first true test against a young,hungry,and undefeated natural Middelweight in Daniel Eduard.If you saw Eduards fight against Willie Gibbs,you would know how good this kid really is.

I'm glad Eduoard is getting a chance he's a damn good fighter in my eyes and has a mild chance at an upset. This will be a much tougher fight for Taylor than those three bums Alex Rios, Raul Marquez and William Joppy he had previously. If Taylor gets past this road block i'd like to see him against Hopkins, but most likely Felix Sturm.

Should be a live body in the ring with Taylor for once. I'd like to see Taylor take on Kingsley Ikeke or Sam Soliman if he gets passed this test. I'm not sold on him yet, he's being brought up really slow so seeing is believing.

Eduoard is a good prospect himself. He has some skills, decent pop, and most importantly, he's not afraid of throwing his hands. Taylor is finally in with someone who is going to test his chin. You are correct sir. Personally, I'm kinda pulling for Edouard. The way he's wroking his way through the ranks reminds me a little of Hopkins or Hagler. He really impresses me. Before the fight with Taylor was made, he was gonna go over to Germany to fight Arthur Abraham. And this is coming off that battle with Gibbs. I really like Edouard. I like Taylor too, but not as much for some reason.

I'm convinced neither one of you knows what they are talking about. Daniel Edouard is a tough kid with a great chin and a heavy right hand. This is no sparing match for Jermain Taylor. Did anyone see the fight between Edouard and Willie Gibbs? That was fight of the year material right there. Also, Jermain is not a champion (unless you cound that alphabet-soup belt that he has but which nobody would consider a real belt). The only champion in the division is Bernard Hopkins. DiegoFuego, Hopkins did not beat Edouard (as the "Hatian Sensation" is unbeaten). Thank God there was at least one real boxing fan here. I was stunned when I saw this topic.

Daniel Edouard is a tough guy from West Palm Beach, FL. He has a good right hand, a good chin, and puts relentless pressure on his opponents. His best fight was his FNF Shootout with Willie Gibbs last year. He came back from being stunned in the first to KO Gibbs in the 4th. It was a Fight of the Year type performance. This will certainly be the toughest test of Taylor's career. Haha, I could've swore I said the same thing a few posts back.
