i reckon he's got his eyes on Toney!
wait for toney to pick up a belt, then the wheels will start turning.
Roy reckons Toney is the best HW out there, he said it on BDSS.
Roy is one of my favorite fighters ever. I think he should call it quits. The two kos definitly hurt him but he still had a great career and he can think straight, unlike certain fighters (holyfield)
Do his last two looses Vs G.Johnson and A.Tarver
Mean his carrer is gonna be over soon??
I mean not his career is not definitley over but it looks like he might just stick to boradcasting and Body Head Entertainment.
Roy showed unbelievable quickness at heavyweight against Ruiz, He did not take them with him to Light Heavyweight. However if he chose to go back to heavyweight his speed would still not be their. His speed is gone and that is what he relied on ENTIRELY!
Thanks for a great career, His skills was really shown at heavyweight and middleweight...Quickness.
True spinks. However, man he should avoid the heavies like the plague. Dude is Johnsonn hit him w/half a shot and KHTFO for like 10mins imagine what a heavy w/speed like, Casstillo, Peter, Wld Klitschko, even JC Gomez would do to his ass. Besides most heavies would just fight him from the outside and eventually land a bomb and he would end up like his bud G-man. Let him stay retired!

Roy Jones will probably still fight. He doesn't want to go out like that (all leaned back n shit). He'll set up a soft touch fight and go out of the game with a W.
He's a good commentator IMO though. He knows boxing!
Roy cannot fight anymore because his quickness is gone and he doesn't have the beard/style to stay in front of his opponents...like say James Toney. His game was built on beating his opponent to the punch and getting out of harms way before damage was done. Now that he can't do that I believe he should end his career and completely shift to commentary.
Roy never has wanted to take a punch (understandable). For the last ten years you could hardly read an interview where he didn't say something about permanent damage from boxing. Now that he can't avoid being hit anymore I highly doubt we will ever see him in the ring again.
he's shot, he has no true desire to comeback and dominate. after his last loss to glen johnson, he was losing in such poor fashion and to get ko'd the way he did........he is done. and to save his health i think he should quit. it's like augie sanchez, after getting brutally ko'd you just can't take a punch no more. the ko loss to johnson was bad, but it wasn't as big of a punch as the ko loss to tarver.....tarver got him with a cleaner shot, a more solid shot. the jonhson shot was on the side of the head, but it also caught some shoulder......roy should retire and fast.....
Yeah, alot of people will talk about his talent in the future, but his accomplishments will always be overshadowed by his back to back KO losses (the only accomplishment I could say that won't be is his win over Ruiz)...
I think Roy is a good commentator, but George Foreman was the king...even if the fight was boring George Foreman would always say something you could laugh to or something to make you say, "Good point."
Some one put a fork in that milk dud he's done! However, I do like his Boxing commentating. It's refreshing to have a guy that knows his stuff up there!
