GEORGE ROSENWASER: Hello, my question is actually for Roger First, I’m wondering if you saw 24/7 on Sunday?

KELLY SWANSON: Thanks everybody for calling in. I'm sure as some of you saw on your alert for this call, we asked the question, "Will someone be talking turkey?" And of course, here in the States, we have thanksgiving on Thursday but, as I think, most of you have seen even from 24/7, HBO's show that aired its premiere episode on Sunday, we have some very talkative trainers training these magnificent athletes. And so today, we're going to give those trainers an opportunity to tell you a little bit about what's going on in the camps. Just a quick programming note, if you haven't seen the first episode of 24/7, you can catch it this afternoon in the States, a 4:30pm ET/PT, again, on HBO, and then it goes on HBO in demand.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton and his team—brother and fellow fighter Matthew, trainer Billy Graham, nutritionist Kerry Kayes, assistant trainer Lee Beard and agent Paul Speaks—will settle in Las Vegas Friday for his world welterweight championship mega-showdown against Floyd Mayweather, Saturday, December 8 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The bout will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View

LOS ANGELES – On December 7, the night before Manchester’s Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton represents the United Kingdom in his long-awaited showdown against “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, a host of Hatton’s countrymen will invade the MGM Grand Conference Center to take on opponents from around the globe in a British invasion not seen on these shores since The Beatles landed in 1964.

I am shocked and appalled at the decision by the New Jersey States Attorney General Anne Milgram and her office to dismiss Larry Hazzard from his services as longstanding head of the New Jersey State Athletic Commission. I am standing up to renounce this decision and I encourage all members of the boxing community—fighters, trainers, judges, promoters, commissioners, television networks, and the media—to join me in protesting this decision.

OSCAR DE LA HOYA, PRESIDENT, GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS: Thank you very much. We are getting closer to UNDEFEATED December 8 th. We have a tremendous lineup of fights just like we promised. The boxing fans deserve not only a tackler main event, but from top to bottom, a card that people will remember for many years to come.

After nearly one year of inactivity, WBO junior lightweight champion Joan Guzman (27-0, 17 KOs) makes his highly anticipated return to the ring when he battles the veteran Humberto Soto (43-5-2, 27 KOs) on Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J., on HBO "Boxing After Dark" at 9:45 p.m. ET/PT. Guzman and Soto addressed the media in the promotions' final press conference Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Old Homestead Restaurant in New York City. Here is what they had to say:

NEW YORK, NY - With "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather and Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton heavily entrenched in preparations for their own welterweight championship showdown December 8, both undefeated fighters took the time to weigh in on the welterweight mega-contest between their division rivals Miguel Cotto and Sugar Shane Mosley this Saturday, November 10th at the "Mecca of Boxing," Madison Square Garden. NEW YORK, NY – Just days before the highly anticipated welterweight championship bout between undefeated WBA world welterweight champion MIGUEL COTTO and four-time world champion SUGAR SHANE MOSLEY, scheduled for Saturday, November 10 , at the "Mecca of Boxing," Madison Square Garden, both fighters addressed the media at the final press conference. OSCAR DE LA HOYA, PRESIDENT, GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS: Thank you very much too all the media who is listening in. We are getting closer to the Fast & Furious Saturday November 10, Cotto versus Mosley at the Madison Square Garden. I do want to announce that we are close to a sellout and we expect a sellout at the Madison Square Garden. As you all know this is a much anticipated fight, which most likely will be the event of the year if not the fight of the year. A great indication of that is we have tremendous sponsors lined up for this event who will be marketing and be part of the event with the Puerto Rico tourism board. We have Beowulf, the movie, which will be out shortly. We have Tecate Beer, who's a primary sponsor and also Southwest Airlines. I would like now to introduce to you a trainer and father of Shane Mosley. He is a two-time trainer of the year. He's been with Shane Mosley throughout his whole career, and that is Jack Mosley who will be talking a little bit about how training camp is going.
