Heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte sees no reason for Deontay Wilder to get another crack at Tyson Fury.
The two heavyweights first collided back in December 2018, which saw Fury go down twice and the fight concluded in a controversial twelve round split draw.
In the February rematch, Fury set the record straight when he dropped Wilder twice and stopped him in the seventh round.
Wilder had a contractual clause to force an immediate third fight.
The contest was initially targeted for a date of July 18 - but is now being pushed back to the new target month of October.
“Fury won the first fight, and they gave him a draw. Fury knocked him out the second time. What more can he say? They had two fights," Whyte told IFL TV.
"And he lost both fights, in my opinion. I’m just stating facts. I’m not the biggest fan of Tyson Fury. Facts are facts. Deontay Wilder got his ass handed to him twice."
Whyte believes Wilder is refusing to man up to the win. He says Wilder is making numerous excuses, when he should admit defeat and move forward. Whyte says there is is no shame in being dropped or stopped in the heavyweight division.
"The guy just needs to go away. Be a man. All heavyweights lose. And all heavyweights get knocked out," Whyte said.
"If you fight good heavyweights, you’ll get knocked down. We’ve seen it before. Every single one of us has been on the floor. He needs to grow up and stop talking sh-t. He got beat up.”
