Carl Froch and George Groves both easily made weight for their highly anticipated rematch, which takes place Saturday at Wembley Stadium in London. 


A sold-out crowd of 80,000 is on tap for what has easily become the biggest fight of 2014. In addition to the huge domestic rival, the bulk of the appeal comes from the controversial ending to their first fight. Groves was well in control, jumping to a quick start with a knockdown in the opening round and well ahead through eight rounds.

However, the super middleweight contender began to run out of steam. Froch came on big in round nine, but a conclusive ending was denied when itchy trigger-finger referee Howard Foster prematurely stopped the contest. 

The bout airs live on HBO (Saturday, 4:00PM ET).

The evening's co-feature could very well determine the next opponent for the winner of the headlining bout. James DeGale and Brandon Gonzales square off in a scheduled 12-round super middleweight final elimination bout, with the winner to become the mandatory challenger to one of the alphabet belts in Froch's possession.

DeGale checked in at 167.4 lb., while Gonzalez came in at a chiseled 167.5 lb.
