Welterweight contender Keith Thurman (18-0, 17KOs) made his HBO debut on Saturday night, stopping Mexican veteran Orlando Lora (29-3) in six rounds at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following the contest, Thurman said that he was ready to fight all comers at 147-pounds. Thurman feels ready to challenge one of the welterweight champions. Two boxers that are certainly on his radar - WBO champion Timothy Bradley and WBA beltholder Paulie Malignaggi.
"I'm 18-0 with 17 knockouts. I'm carrying an "O" and Keith Thurman is not afraid to let it go. I'm looking forward to challenges in my future, so anybody who wants some - come get some. I want to go after the top people. I'm looking at the top ten. I'm looking to fight anybody....anybody who the boxing critics think can beat me - let's fight them. I call haters motivators," Thurman told BoxingScene.com.
"Really, I'm belt hungry. Paul Malignaggi and Timothy Bradley, two U.S. champions, I would love to mix it up with those two and see where I'm at...at the elite championship level.
