WBA interim-welterweight champion Keith Thurman (24-0, 21KOs) is willing to face all-comers 147-pounds, and especially British star Amir Khan (30-3, 19KOs). The two of them were featured on the same card last month in Las Vegas, with Thurman winning a twelve round decision over Leonard Bundy and Khan easily outpointing Devon Alexander.

"I think a lot of people underestimate my ability to box and punch at the same. He's a good boxer, but he gets caught. He tends to open up and throw wide. Punchers throw wide, but when we connect - that's it. When he throws wide, we eat it. Skill-wise, I think I have all the skill and talent to dismantle Amir Khan in the same fashion or greater fashion than Danny Garcia," Thurman told BoxingScene.com.

Thurman is not impressed with Khan's rise to the welterweight division, and that includes Khan's recent victory over Alexander.

"My real issue with Amir Khan in the welterweight division is....he has yet to truly fight a real welterweight, because Devon Alexander is...they are really 140-pounders moving up to welterweight," Thurman said.
