Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach, who handles WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto, feels Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (45-1-1, 32KOs) will start strong, fade as the fight continues, and eventually succumb to a knockout loss in the late rounds.

Cotto will defend his championship against Canelo on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The bout is going to take place at catch-weight of 155-pounds.

In several interviews Roach has accused Canelo of not being a very dedicated fighter when it comes to his gym work.

Canelo has promised to take the fight to Cotto in the early rounds. Roach is expecting him to do just that and he's preparing his boxer withstand that type of assault.

"I don't think Canelo is the most dedicated fighter in the world. He's not as dedicated in the gym. I've had a chance to see him. And Miguel will sacrifice anything to win, he's very dedicated," said Roach to El Diario.

"I think the early rounds will be a little difficult, but I think that helps us a bit. I want Cotto to hold his stamina and have enough energy to knock this kid out late. Canelo will press us in the beginning, but that's something that we'll have to deal with."
