Trainer Freddie Roach feels its a big mistake if Floyd Mayweather Jr. avoids a potential mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao. Roach and Pacquiao are starting their camp in the Philippines, training for the November 12th trilogy fight with Juan Manuel Marquez. Should Pacquiao win in November, they want to face Mayweather next.

This past Saturday, Mayweather said - "I don't need Pacquiao. With or without Pacquiao, every time Floyd Mayweather goes out there he's going to make over $70-million, period. I don't need him."

Roach doesn't agree.

“They will say, why didn’t you fight Pacquiao? He’s undefeated, but he never fought Manny Pacquiao. He never fought the best fighter of his era, and that will haunt him for the rest of his life,” Roach said to ABS-CBS News.
