No Limit have confirmed that Tim Tszyu will fight again imminently.

The junior middleweight defeated Anthony Velazquez at a catchweight of 157lbs on December 17 and, according to No Limit’s George Rose, would have been ready to fight again 10 weeks later.

To that end he is preparing to fly to Miami, Florida to work again with his new trainer Pedro Diaz, in an attempt to be ready for a date and opponent in early April, if not at the end of March.

“As soon as Tim’s ready we’ll go again,” Rose told BoxingScene. “We were really interested in trying to put him on end of Feb, but given we’ve just finished December, we’ve just had Christmas, New Year’s, the timing hasn’t worked out perfectly. As soon as he’s ready to go…

“He pulled up fine from the last fight. He wants to be active in 2026; he wants to re-establish his name in the division, and then start taking names down.”

Rose was then asked about the profile of opponent likely to be matched with the Australian, 31 years old.

“It’s building on what he’s just done,” the promoter responded. “He came off a really tumultuous 2025 where he put it all on the line. He lost a world-title fight, but he put it all on the line. It was a tough year for him. Let’s build back up.

“That last fight from him was a great start for him to build back up to the person he is and what he’ll be in this division, so it’ll be another step up. I thought he looked good; I thought he looked strong in the fight; he’s ready to take another step up. We’ll look for an opponent that is a step up. Who that’ll be, we’ll announce very soon.”
