Orlando Salido: Vasyl Lomachenko is Nothing Special

WBO featherweight champion Orlando Salido (40-12-2, 28KOs) saw nothing special about two-time Olympic gold medal winner Vasyl Lomachenko (1-0, 1KO), who made his pro debut on Saturday night against Jose Ramirez at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Lomachenko knocked Ramirez out in the fourth round with a hard shot to the body. Also on the card, Salido knocked out Orlando Cruz in seven rounds to capture his WBO crown.

Lomachenko has asked Top Rank to put him in the ring with Salido. Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum wants to make the fight on January 25th in New York's Madison Square Garden.

"I saw the fight [with Ramirez]. Lomachenko is a good fighter, he moves well, but he's nothing special. What can I say about him? He is a winner. I am ready for anyone and it's going to be a war in every fight," Salido said.
