Back in February, BoxingScene.com reported that veteran trainer and former fighter Floyd Mayweather Sr., 67-years-old, found himself in a legal mess.

29-year-old Purisa Farris sued Mayweather Sr. for child support in connection to their 1-year-old daughter, Nalani Mayweather.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Farris sued Mayweather Sr. on January 16. She claims he is the father of her 1-year-old, and she lists the date of conception as October 2016. Farris accuses him of failing to pay child support from October through December 2017.

In going through the court documents, it should be noted that Mayweather Sr. was not listed as the father on the birth certificate, and he also was not present during the birth.

Farris claims he communicated with her throughout the pregnancy and obviously a paternity test was requested unless Mayweather Sr. confirmed the information contained in the suit.

At the time of the lawsuit, Mayweather Sr. had not yet responded to the legal documents. Farris claimed he had not paid for any medical expenses, clothing or food nor had he visited the child.

TMZ now reports that Mayweather Sr. responded to the suit and took a DNA test back in April - which showed the probability of paternity at 99.99%.

Floyd Sr. reportedly has at least 5 other children ... including 41-year-old former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. - who retired from the sport in August 2017 after knocking out UFC superstar Conor McGregor at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

A rep for Floyd Sr. had no comment to TMZ.
