Lucas Matthysse's trainer Luis Dionisio Barrera, better known as the “Cuty” is burning the midnight oil. Barrera stressed it's his job to study Danny Garcia, to formulate a winning strategy, explaining:

“Lucas respects Garcia, being aware of the great boxer he is. I’m in charge of studying Garcia, to see what his week points are, so I can help in this battle.”

Matthysse (34-2, 32 KO’s) is the current WBC super lightweight interim-champion. On September 14th he'll have the chance to become the supreme champion of the division, when he faces full champion Garcia.

Barrera also commented: “I trust that Lucas will win this fight. I know him, I know how he trains and feels boxing. He’s currently working on his speed and stamina.

“This fight against Garcia will be different. Garcia is a very dangerous opponent with a lethal cross and uppercuts, but he will be no match for Lucas. On September 14th he'll be the supreme super lightweight champion.”
