Before traveling to Las Vegas for his upcoming fight against Danny Garcia (26-0-0, 16 KO), Lucas Matthysse (34-2-0-1SD, 32 KO) invited his mother to share with him the last days of his training in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Her name is Doris and she’s used to boxing as she was married to Mario Eduardo Matthysse who was also a boxer and even she herself has practiced boxing.
“Being with my son in the last part of his preparation is something wonderful. Lucas is so very special… he doesn’t speak a lot, he just says what he has to. He didn’t want to go training anywhere else, as he feels comfortable here at home” her mother said.
Lucas Matthysse will face the most important fight of his life against Danny Garcia for the WBC superlightweight supremacy.
