WBA welterweight champion Marcos Maidana (35-3, 31KOs) has returned fire to Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs), the 147-pound champion of the WBC. On December 14th at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Maidana pulled off a stunner when he won a convincing twelve round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Adrien Broner, who Mayweather considers to be a close and personal friend.
Late Wednesday night, Mayweather took a shot at Maidana with a photo on the social networks.
On Thursday, Maidana wrote in response - "Your little brother wasn't good enough for this bizcocho, but who knows - maybe you are the next one in the family?"
