MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Ann Wolfe, trainer of James Kirkland, gives Alfredo Angulo a very good shot to pull off an upset later tonight, when he faces former WBA/WBA 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez in the main event of a Showtime Pay-Per-View event. In 2011, Kirkland was dropped in the first round of his fireworks fight with Angulo. He came back to drop Angulo at the end of the same round and eventually stopped him in the sixth.

Wolfe gives Angulo a great shot to win if he comes out firing from the opening bell and pressures Canelo in every single round. If they live up to the "Toe to Toe" billing - and start trading, she feels Angulo will knock Canelo out.

"Angulo, he got a puncher's chance because that motherf***er can punch. Canelo has shown me that his boxing skills are getting better and he showed me that he tries to deal with adversity, like with Floyd Mayweather Jr. I'm pulling for Angulo, because I like him a lot. I want him to win, but I just don't know because he's been through so many battles. You can't count him. After the fight with James, he had a couple of fights and didn't do so well, but then he had the Lara fight and he did well. It's all about what's left in the tank," Wolfe told BoxingScene.com.

"If Angulo just comes out and starts hitting that motherf***er everywhere but the bottom of the feet, and just press the sh*t out of him and keep hitting him and hitting him - and I think if that happens, Canelo is going to have some problems. If it's toe to toe, Angulo can knock him on his ass. If he stands with Angulo and goes toe to toe, Angulo will knock him on his ass because Angulo can punch and he is a full blown junior middleweight and not no blown up welterweight."
