In an earlier article on BoxingScene.com, Egis Klimas - the manager of WBO featherweight titlist Vasyl Lomachenko, called for a fight with WBA/WBO super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux.

A potential fight would match two fighters who are regarded as the greatest amateur fighters of all-time. They each won two Olympic gold medals and won world titles in record time.

"I think another fight that would be very good for fans and for everybody is Lomachenko versus (Guillermo) Rigondeaux," said the manager, who made it clear this bout would have to take place at 126-pounds, no catch-weight. We have two Olympians - both guys won two gold medals - that would be a fantastic fight and I think for him to make a comeback versus Lomachenko would be really good," Klimas told BoxingScene.com.

In response to BoxingScene's story - Rigondeaux had three words - "when and where?"

Rigondeaux has been inactive since a title defense last December in Japan. There are widespread rumors that he's waiting for his managerial contract to expire in order to align himself with manager/adviser Al Haymon.
