Golden Boy Promotions will be promoting a card in San Antonio on March 12th that will be televised by HBO Latino. And Frankie 'the Pitbull' Gomez could be added onto that show.

"There is a great possibility, that's what we're looking at," said Robert Diaz, matchmaker at Golden Boy Promotions. "We have a meeting with his team, we'd be looking at a strong lineup: Francisco Vargas against Will Tomlinson, Antonio Orozco against Emanuel Taylor and Frankie Gomez."

Gomez, who is 22 years old, has a mark of 18-0 (13 KO's). He has steadied himself personally and professionally since a turbulent beginning to his career that began in 2010. 2015 could be a year that he ascends to the next level in the junior welterweight class.

"I believe so," agreed Diaz. "Frankie has all the talent in the world and I don't think I'm speaking too quickly to say a couple of fights this year and he can challenge anybody at 140 for a world title."
