Former four division world champion Evander Holyfield gave some very high praise to rising Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Joshua (15-0, 15KOs).

Joshua is viewed by many as the next superstar in the heavyweight division.

Last December, in his biggest fight to date, he stopped domestic rival Dillian Whyte in seven rounds. He survived an early scare when Whyte clipped him hard on the chin and came back to knock Whyte out in a very exciting fight.

Joshua is scheduled to see action in April.

Holyfield is impressed with Joshua's fighting style and fully believes he will be a world champion one day. He says the young boxer fights with an American style.

"Anthony Joshua is the best fighter y’all ever had in this country. He got the education because he did the Olympics. And great boxers at amateur level are the ones able to keep it going a lot longer. He has to be the most skillful boxer I ever seen from the UK. He fights like an American," Holyfield told Daily Mail.

"He’s a very skillful fighter, he’s not just a brawler. Of course he can be heavyweight champ. He has the skills and has got heart. Only thing he’s got to do now is go in there and make it happen."

And the best advice Holyfield can give Joshua or any young fighter?

"Never let nobody outwork you. That was the best advice I got. Because it’s up to you if you let somebody outwork you. When people get tired, that’s when you find out how much desire a person has. Anybody can do good when they feel good but what happens when things are not right?," Holyfield said.
