New York - The ongoing legal battle between Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, and the woman who claims he imprisoned her during 'unusual sexual activities,' is heating up.

De La Hoya's lawyer Judd Burstein, on November 15, called the complainant Angelica Marie Cecora 'a prostitute and a grifter' and also asked for the dismissal of the case calling it a 'disgrace'.

Cecora has accused De La Hoya of emotional distress, false imprisonment, assault and battery after an alleged wild night of sex, drugs and cross-dressing on March 15.

“It was beyond kinky,” Cecora told the New York Post. “Things that I don’t even know how to explain were done with him. He started to put my stuff on, my underwear. I had a skirt with me. He put that on. He was the exact same size as me. He fit into the tiniest pair of underwear that I had been wearing. He was dancing, playing around with my [clothes], playing a woman, very feminine. We had intercourse . . . He wasn’t taking no for an answer, as if I could leave. He ordered drugs to be delivered to the room. I tried to hide them from him to keep him under control, but he just wanted more and more.”

Burstein is moving to have the case dimissed, stating in recently filed legal papers that De La Hoya and Cecora engaged in "consensual" sexual activities.

"This case is a disgrace... reduced to its essentials it alleges that [De La Hoya] engaged in [wrongful] conduct because, after he and [Cecora] had engaged in consensual sexual intercourse, he unsuccessfully sought to convince her a few hours later to have sex with him again," the New York Post quoted Burstein's court papers as saying.

He says that whatever happened between De La Hoya and the woman was voluntary and has asked for 'sanctions' against her lawyers.

"To call [my client] a prostitute and a grifter is the saddest and lowest manoeuvre possible," said Tony Evans, Cecora's lawyer.

"We knew a powerful man would attack her character. We didn't attack his character. Threatening sanctions is a bullying tactic. And, it only makes me more excited for this case," he said.
