Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya believes WBC/WBA 154-pound champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-0-1, 30KOs) is capable of landing the perfect punch that is going to knock Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26KOs) out on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. De La Hoya says the public is getting more and more behind Canelo, sensing a major upset might happen next Saturday night in Las Vegas.

"I can assure you that we haven't even seen Canelo's full potential yet but we will on September 14. People have hope. They strongly feel that Mayweather is going to get beat and that's why this fight is catching fire. We're going to see a fast, young and smart Canelo. I truly believe that Canelo has the strength to land that perfect punch. If Canelo wins, there will be a rematch," De La Hoya said.
