Former two-division world champion David Haye (26-2, 24KOs) has changed his position on a possible fight with Tyson Fury (21-0, 15KOs). Month after month, Fury has blasted Haye on the social networks and promised to knock the former heavyweight champion out.

Haye's manager and trainer, Adam Booth, told The Sun they are ready to make the fight this year. Haye has a scheduled return on June 29th in Manchester against a yet to be determined opponent.

“It would be a huge event anywhere in the country. It wouldn’t matter if it was London or at a Manchester football stadium. It would be massive. I am waiting to make contact with Fury’s promoter to see if the interest expressed in some of Fury’s comments about David are genuine or just hot air from a young fighter,” Booth said.

“I’ve read Fury wants the fight, he says he can knock out David, so let’s see if we can make it happen.”
