Nathan Cleverly and James DeGale could spar ahead of their respective fights on May 21 at the O2 Arena, London.
Cleverly challenges for the WBO light-heavyweight title against Jurgen Braehmer, while DeGale is involved in a British and Commonwealth super-middleweight title showdown with bitter rival George Groves.
After his last fight, Cleverly blamed a lack of quality sparring for a lacklustre performance.
He has even contemplated a switch to London - for training camps - to improve the preparation he gets.
DeGale is well used to moving around the country to get quality opposition, and has previously moved around with current Commonwealth light-heavyweight champion Tony Bellew.
If Cleverly and DeGale do meet, it could be a pre-cursor to a titantic showdown in a couple of years time.
Although a super-middleweight at the moment, DeGale looks big enough to shift up to light-heavyweight without losing any of his edge.
