David Benavidez has no shortage of HUGE fights on his radar. In an exclusive interview with BoxingScene, Jose Benavidez Sr. makes it clear that David still wants the biggest names at 175lbs including Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev. Benavidez has previously said those are two fights he wants to make as he pursues more titles and major challenges. But there’s another name that could make things very interesting: Andy Ruiz Jr. Jose discusses the possibility of an all-Mexican showdown between Benavidez and the former heavyweight champion, along with David’s plans across multiple divisions. And with a potential Jai Opetaia showdown also building after the pair came face-to-face following Opetaia’s latest victory, Benavidez has some massive options ahead.

ProboxTV’s championship series is now on the ProBoxTV YouTube channel for $5/month.

Heavyweight veteran Derek Chisora (33-13, 23 KOs) will be looking to bounce back on Saturday night, when he faces Gerald Washington in a ten round fight at the O2 Arena in London.
Their fight will be featured on the undercard to Anthony Joshua's scrap with late replacement Robert Helenius.
In Chisora's last ring appearance, in December of 2022, he was battered and stopped by WBC world champion Tyson Fury.
Earlier that year, Chisora pulled off a split decision win in his rematch with Kubrat Pulev.
A loss to Washington (20-5-1, 13 KOs) would certainly be the end for the 'War' Chisora - but he's confident of victory.
"They are all big fights for me, all the fights are my babies, from the first fight to when I have my last fight, I love them all. I got two kids and I love them the same way, I don’t love one better than the other and it’s the same with my fights," Chisora said.
"I know what Gerald is going to bring, he’ll put his Usain Bolt shoes on and he’s going to run, but that’s OK, we’re going to chase him, find him and mess him up. I won’t lie, he’s my friend, but when I get in the ring, I’ll eat this guy up.
"All fights you have to win, sometimes it’s not your day; man makes plans and God laughs at him. I can say I’m going to KO him in three rounds and it goes the 12. I wanted to win all the fights I’ve lost."
Washington, who is trained by Malik Scott, has lost three of his last four bouts. But, that one victory - in 2019 - was a knockout of Helenius, who appears in the main event. The return against Chisora will be the first bout for Washington since January of 2022.
