Dereck ‘Del Boy’ Chisora (17st 3lbs) put the disappointment of his lopsided decision loss to Tyson Fury to one side on Friday at the North Bridge Leisure Centre, Halixfax when beating Remigijus Ziausys (14st 8lbs) 60-54 after six-threes to move to 14-1 (9); Ziausys drops to 19-44-3 (9).  The 27-year-old boxed with purpose at times but insists that he needs to be challenged in order to show his best form.

“This guy came to survive,” said Chisora when speaking to BoxNation’s John Rawling.  “I ended up playing with him for a bit.  Frank [Warren] is watching right now so Frank, I need a big challenge.  This is not me.  I like to fight fighters.  I lost my titles but I’m coming back.  I need a big fight in December – I need a twelve rounder.”

Chisora admitted that he lost fair and square to Fury, talked up the possibility of a rematch and then claimed that the fight is not on his immediate agenda because he wants it to become a huge event.  “For me to be the greatest I had to lose the fight,” he said.

“It made me a better fighter and a better person.  I’m just looking forward to coming back.  I know the British public wants to see me come back.  I’ve got so many fans out there.”

Adding: “Tyson can’t punch.  He caught me on a bad day.  I want him to keep winning so he can hold onto that unbeaten record and we can have a nice rematch.  Do I want the rematch now?  No.  There’s bigger fights out there, we’re going to announce it soon.”

Fury has his own fish to fry; he takes on Neven Pajkic in Manchester later tonight, his first defence of the Commonwealth crown.  Tyson is making his third appearance on Channel 5 and tops a Mick Hennessy-promoted bill.

As for Chisora, there are rumours of a December 3rd bout with Robert Helenius.  This time last year, Dereck was lined up for a crack at Wladimir Klistchko; he believes that one of them owes him an outing.

“I want the two brothers,” he revealed.  “I want to retire the two brothers.  We’ve got some unfinished business – I want them right now.”
