Earlier today, WBC/WBA junior middleweight champion Saul " Canelo" Alvarez and members of his team, including Ramon and Ricardo Alvarez, left their camp in Big Bear, California to travel over to Las Vegas. On September 14th at the MGM Grand, Canelo will face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the headline fight of Showtime's big pay-per-view. Canelo started training for this fight in the first week of May in his native Guadalajara. The group hired a nutritionist and a physical trainer to ensure Canelo will have no problem making the catch-weight limit of 152-pounds. Canelo's team expect him to be withing range of 154-pounds by next Sunday.
