Former three division champion Adrien Broner (28-1, 22KOs) is still looking to avenge his first career defeat, which came at the hands of Marcos Maidana last December in Texas. Broner was knocked down twice and lost his WBA title on the losing end of a twelve round unanimous decision.

Broner had exercised a rematch clause, but then Floyd Mayweather Jr. snatched away Maidana for a May pay-per-view event. Mayweather won a tough majority decision and a rematch is scheduled for September 13th. Broner returns one week earlier, on September 6th, when he faces Emmanuel Taylor.

Broner is picking Mayweather to win the rematch easier, and then "The Problem" is hoping to get his own rematch with Maidana.

"It's a hell of a fight. Maidana is a tough opponent for anybody....of course I know that. The last one was a tough fight for my big brother but he got past it like he always do. I feel like this fight is going to be an easier fight for Mayweather, but......after that...I'm going to put on a show September 6th and hopefully I get my rematch with Maidana," Broner said.
