Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas - WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (33-1-1, 13KOs) could be one fight away from a showdown with Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, who challenges Miguel Cotto for the WBC middleweight title on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Bradley returned on Saturday night at Vegas' Thomas & Mack Center, where he knocked out Brandon Rios (33-3-1, 24KOs) in nine rounds.
Arum has already spoken with Canelo's promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, about matching their fighters in the first quarter of 2016.
Bradley is also in the running for a third bout with Manny Pacquiao, but Arum admits Terence Crawford and Amir Khan are the two frontrunners to get that fight.
"Bradley is certainly now a hot commodity, and he could face Pacquiao again or face Canelo," Arum told BoxingScene.com.
If both fights are on the table, money will be the main factor in Bradley's final decision.
"Money [will decide which fight he will take], as far as Bradley is concerned," Arum said.
Canelo-Cotto takes place at a catch-weight of 155-pounds. Arum has no issue with Canelo-Bradley happening at 154 or 155, but he won't allow the fight to happen at anything higher. Canelo's last four bouts have been contracted for 155.
"I wouldn't let him fight [Canelo] higher than 154, 155," Arum said.
