Floyd Mayweather Sr., father and trainer of WBA/WBA 147 & 154 champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., challenged rapper/promoter 50 Cent to fight his son. For several weeks, 50 Cent and Mayweather have been trading words on the social networks. The two were once close friends and practically inseparable, but then their relationship fell apart after a business deal went sour.

"50 Cent seems like he's got a problem since Floyd left him. He's a world known singer and he's acting like a kid. He weighs over 100 pounds more than Floyd. Let him go up against Floyd ... put that on video. Floyd would stop all that. Wouldn't be no more said."

Speak on LA’s Power 106, 50 Cent credited Mayweather with being the best fighter in the world but he also said the unbeaten champion would not be able to beat him in a fight.

“Like I always say, he’s like my younger brother. But if he says something, I’m gonna respond to it, because I think he thinks he can say anything and do anything publicly,” said 50. “Like he’ll do thing and then take it back. You see how he said to T.I., he slept with his girl. Then he said he didn’t say that, he was just kidding. He’s like that….Champ got a lot of different things with him. Don’t get it twisted at all, he’s still the best fighter. He won’t kick my ass. I’m 220, b. I’m 220 right now.”
