WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder is warning all viewers to avoid the possibility of walking away from their screen - when he faces Luis Ortiz in a rematch on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

They first met in the ring in March of 2018 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Wilder dropped Ortiz in the fifth round of the contest. Ortiz rallied in the seventh when he badly hurt Wilder and appeared to be on the verge of closing the show. Wilder recovered, and then staged a rally of his own to score two more knockdowns to stop Ortiz in the tenth.

There were some claims that Wilder was given some time to recover at the start of the eight round, when ringside officials called for a brief timeout in order to have the commission doctors evaluate Wilder's physical state.

Now he wants the record straight by knocking Ortiz out in dramatic fashion.

"Don't blink, this is war - you already know what to expect. This fight will not go the distance," Wilder said.

"Get your popcorn, get your pizza, go to the bathroom, don't let anyone disturb you. Don't drop your cell phone, put it in your pocket, because you don't want to be the one who dropped it and look up and say 'what happened?'.

"As I always say, these guys have to be perfect for 12 rounds, I only need to be perfect for two seconds, and then in the blink of an eye it's bam baby, goodnight!

"I feel like I'm the best in the world, I know I'm the best in the world. I say it boldly, I say it with confidence and with pride."
