New York - WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs) held nothing back when discussing some of the recent statements that were made by Eddie Hearn, who is the head promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA world champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs).
Wilder believes Hearn is terrified to offer up Joshua in a unification encounter. He says Hearn will do anything and everything to avoid the possibility of derailing his biggest financial draw.
"He's just another white man milking a brother - period. I don't have no filter, that's why people love me," Wilder explained to BoxingScene.com.
Wilder has long stated that he wants a 50-50 split to get in the ring with Joshua - but Hearn believes Wilder is delusional with that type of demand - when factoring in that Joshua is the biggest ticket seller in boxing.
Wilder is willing to compromise on that position - including a deal where he'll take whatever percentage they offer up - if Joshua takes that same percentage in the rematch.
"I've given them many offers. I'll take whatever offer they think I deserve, if they take that in the return... the rematch, that's what you should take. They can take that and say that's a great ass idea, because I have the confidence that we're going to win and I don't have to worry about no rematch," Wilder said.
"Or they can look at it as - f*** that, he's going to beat his ass and I'm not going to take that. Hearn has no confidence in Joshua at all - or this fight would have already been made. Look at them already talking about fighting [Jarrell] Miller."
Wilder is back on Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where he defends his WBC world title against undefeated Cuban boxer Luis Ortiz.
And Joshua returns on March 31, when he faces WBO champion Joseph Parker in a high stakes unification from Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
