Vitali Klitschko's upcoming fight with Dereck Chisora has not dampened David Haye's enthusiasm for a bout against the Ukrainian.

Britain's Dereck Chisora will face Vitali Klitschko in February after beating fellow Londoner David Haye to a clash with the WBC heavyweight champion.

Just a couple of hours after scoring the biggest win of his career by stopping Timur Ibragimov in the second round, heavyweight prospect Seth Mitchell, 29 years old and now 24-0-1 with 18 knockouts, spoke to reporters about the victory.

WASHINGTON, DC — Heavyweight Seth Mitchell, 23-0 with one draw and 17 knockouts, will face Uzbek Timur Ibragimov, 30-3 with one draw and 16 knockouts, in an undercard fight Saturday before the Amir Khan-Lamont Peterson light-welterweight world title bout.

A few German outlets are reporting that Vitali Klitschko's defense of the WBC heavyweight title could be rescheduled to February 25th in Munich, Germany at Olympiahalle. Vitali was being reported to fight on March, but younger brother Wladimir has taken over the date with his postponed defense against former cruiserweight champion Jean Marc Mormeck. The three leadining contenders being mentioned to face Vitali - are David Haye, Dereck Chisora who recently had an excellent showing against Robert Helenius, and Alexander Dimitrenko.

Vitali Klitschko has been describing the illness which forced his younger brother Wladimir to withdraw from this Saturday's world championship defense against Frenchman Jean-Marc Mormeck. The match was called off after the Ukrainian underwent surgery to have a kidney stone removed in Dusseldorf, Germany last Saturday.

This past Saturday in Helsinki, WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck caused quite a stir when he appeared at Alexander Povetkin's post-fight press conference and issued a challenge to the WBA's "regular" heavyweight champion. Huck wants to move up in weight to challenge for a heavyweight title. Last month he verbally attacked both Klitschko brothers, Wladimir and Vitali. Both brothers brushed off his challenge. Povetkin, however, has no problem with facing Huck.

German promoter Wilfried Sauerland of Sauerland Event is gromming his two heavyweight stars, Alexander Povetkin and Robert Helenius, to become the next generation to rule the division. The championship brothers, Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko, hold a dominating grasp on the entire division. Sauerland is not going to chase the Klitschkos, because the lack of credible opponents will force the Klitschkos to pursue Povetkin and Helenius.

By Mark Staniforth - While there are countless apocryphal tales of the extent to which Riddick Bowe ate his way out of heavyweight greatness, few could deny the raw talent possessed by the fighter they fondly knew as 'Big Daddy'. Unfortunately, outside his epic trilogy against Evander Holyfield, it is events outside the ring for which Bowe will be best remembered, be it his eating habits or his public dumping of the WBC belt in a dustbin rather than face Lennox Lewis. Bowe's post-championship career petered out amid health concerns, a conviction for kidnapping his wife, and bankruptcy. He lasted just 11 days in the US Marine Corps, and failed to show up for a mooted 2008 comeback fight. Most sadly of all, Bowe, now 43, still harbours serious

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko has promised to knock out Britain's David Haye if the pair meet in March - and has spoken candidly about the need for political reform in Ukraine as he builds a second career as a politician. Klitschko is poised to meet Haye next year, despite the Londoner announcing his retirement after losing to Vitali's brother, Wladimir, in July.
