This past Saturday in Helsinki, WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck caused quite a stir when he appeared at Alexander Povetkin's post-fight press conference and issued a challenge to the WBA's "regular" heavyweight champion. Huck wants to move up in weight to challenge for a heavyweight title. Last month he verbally attacked both Klitschko brothers, Wladimir and Vitali. Both brothers brushed off his challenge. Povetkin, however, has no problem with facing Huck.

"Klitschkos are afraid of me, and I can challenge them for years. By the time they agree, you can grow old. And with Povetkin we have a common promoter [Sauerland Event], and this fight can take place very soon. I need new challenges. I have respect for [Povetkin]. He achieved a lot - became an Olympic champion, then the world champion. So I would be happy to have a fight with him," Huck told Alexander Pavlov.
